Manage Organization Roles and Permissions

This guide explains the different organization roles in Authorium and their default permissions.
Managing organization roles ensures that members have the correct access to organization-level settings, which helps maintain security and control over all projects in your workspace.

This guide is intended for Account Owners and Admins who need to configure and manage organization roles. You will learn how to:

  • Identify and understand the available organization roles.
  • View default permissions for each role.
  • Understand role assignment rules before making changes.

When to Manage Organization Roles

You should manage organization roles when:

  • You need to assign or update user permissions at the organization level.
  • You want to add or remove members from specific organization roles.
  • You are setting up your organization for the first time.

Organization Roles

Organization roles determine what users can do at the organization level:
Account Owner: Highest authority with full control over the organization and its settings.
Admin: Can manage most organization settings but with some restrictions compared to the Account Owner.
Project Creator: Can create and manage projects but has limited access to organization-level settings.
