Security Settings Overview
Determine how your organization handles authentication, passwords, and access policies in Authorium.
Authorium allows you to define different security settings for internal and external users based on their email domain:
- Internal users have emails that match your organization’s domain (e.g.,
@yourcompany.com). - External users have emails from outside domains and are typically contractors or vendors.
Implementing appropriate security policies helps:
- Prevent unauthorized access
- Enforce secure login practices like MFA
- Comply with internal or regulatory standards
You can configure:
- Authentication methods (Username & Password, MFA, SSO)
- Password complexity and expiration policies
- Session timeout and lockout behavior
- Recovery options for locked accounts
